At SEFAC’s, Quality is our drive
Aware as we are that the safety of persons and goods is a constant issue for those who use lifting systems, the Quality of our manufacturing process, our products and our Services is a major concern to us.
Thanks to our reliance on the most advanced methods, such as computer-assisted design or finite element computation software, the technical feasibility of our products is verified as early as during initial design stages.
Various compliance controls are performed on our products throughout the production cycle to ensure they meet the demanding criteria we have set ourselves, and which have established our brand’s reputation.
Every single one of our columns is then tested, prior to leaving the plant, by a technician exclusively assigned to that task and who systematically reviews about fifty checklist items. To that end, we possess our own test bench, where we subject our columns to stress conditions up to 50% tougher than the nominal loads guaranteed.
Freeweight lifting conditions performed during our testing are also more constraining for the machines. We thus ensure they will operate in a satisfactory manner under the most extreme conditions.
Lastly, all SEFAC columns are subjected to CE self-certification or to a type-specific CE certification and meet the highest electromagnetic compatibility standards (level 3 out of 3), which guarantee that our columns will not affect nearby machinery and will not be affected by them.
