1 – the weight

“What strikes you first when you prepare to move a column is its weight.” SEFAC columns are in fact amongst the lightest on the market. At 385 kg per column for our 8.2 tonne capacity Column the new design is much lighter than the old generation mobile columns and specifically most of the current hydraulic columns on the market which weigh nearly 200 kg more.
However, SEFAC Column’s although light are nonetheless very stable, strong and reliable. Designed with software also used in the aerospace industry, they contain high quality steel only where necessary and provide an unquestionable strength.

2 – the interface touch screen

What also pleases is the unique interface with interactive touch screen that assists the operator. “This is simply awesome! Easy to learn and operate, within minutes, you’ve got it!”. Columns are fully operational in only three steps (1 - commissioning and automatic selection of safety features, 2 - selection of column configuration, 3 - choice of operating speeds).

3 – the variable speed

Through its three operating speeds, the S3 saves time gives great flexibility to the operator who can adjust the lifting speed to the load. "In high speed mode, S3 mechanical columns are even faster than most hydraulic columns."
